รัฐบาลสหรัฐ ประกาศตั้งงบ 1 พันล้านดอลลาร์ ตั้งศูนย์วิจัยด้าน AI และควอนตัมคอมพิวเตอร์ จำนวน 12 แห่งทั่วประเทศ
มูลนิธิวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ (National Science Foundation หรือ NFS) จะรับผิดชอบการตั้งศูนย์วิจัยด้าน AI จำนวน 7 แห่งร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยทั่วสหรัฐ ด้วยงบประมาณราว 300 ล้านดอลลาร์
กระทรวงพลังงานสหรัฐ (Department of Energy หรือ DOE) จะรับผิดชอบการตั้งศูนย์วิจัยด้าน quantum information science (QIS) จำนวน 5 แห่ง ร่วมกับห้องวิจัยแห่งชาติในสังกัด (Argonne, Brookhaven, Fermi, Oak Ridge, Lawrence Berkeley) ใช้งบประมาณรวม 625 ล้านดอลลาร์
