จากที่ประกาศเอาไว้เมื่อวานนี้ เมื่อคืนนี้ ประธานาธิบดี Donald Trump ประกาศนำสหรัฐอเมริกาถอนตัวออกจากข้อตกลง Paris Accord โดยให้เหตุผลว่าเพื่อการเจรจาข้อตกลงแบบเดียวกันที่สหรัฐอเมริกาเสียเปรียบน้อยลง
นักธุรกิจคนดังอย่าง Elon Musk ก็ประกาศถอนตัวจากการเป็นที่ปรึกษาให้ Trump ทันที เขาให้เหตุผลว่าปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงภูมิอากาศ (climate change) เป็นของจริง การถอนตัวของสหรัฐอเมริกาไม่เป็นผลดีกับทั้งตัวเองและโลก
